What is your favorite memory of Swimrun?

The competitions. In swimrun, you always compete with a team mate and it makes it different to all other endurance sports I've been engaged in. It's a constant collaboration between you and your partner during the entire race and that makes it a special memory for both of you.

Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

The biggest inspiration is having a team mate that pushes you along the way, and someone you can push as well.

Do you have any favorite quotes or words you like?

”Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.”

What makes you stand out?

I'm not sure if I do. What I like about swimrun is that the sport is open for everyone, no matter if you're just starting out or have done it for years. This is something I appriciate with the sport and I also try to encourage when meeting fellow competitors.

What is your best strength?

I don't complain.

How do you measure your success?

The hardest part when you measure yourself is to not compare yourself with others. It's all about you and your improvements. With that in mind its a lot more easy to find things which I have improved in Swimrun but also in my everyday life.

What's your why?

Cold water.
