Tell us about yourself.

Since I was young it's been my dream to train and compete as a freerunner. After many years trying to leave Gaza and compete I was finally given an opportunity to come to Sweden in late 2016, at the same time I got my visa and the borders were open. I was so lucky.

What's been the best part so far?

When I boarded the plane for the first time, I got the chance to head to Europe to be with my friends who practice the same sport and join a competition. For the first time I got my dreams. I realized that patience is so beautiful and nothing is impossible in this life.

Do you have any favorite words or quotes?

Train like an athlete, perform like an artist.

What's your why?

Believing that the next day is better than before. Along my journey I've faced many challenges to get here. My family is the biggest inspiration for me, encouraging to do the best always.
