Kotobukiya Cardcaptor Sakura: Li Syaoran Artfx Statue

Kotobukiya continues their ARTFXJ lineup of statues based on Cardcaptor Sakura with Li Syaoran. Li crouches, holding his sword aloft and ready for battle, on a specially designed base. Highly detailed sculpt brings out all the fine touches from the strands of Li's hair and flowing clothing down to the tassel on his sword. Li stands 23 cm (over 9 inches) tall in 1/7 scale. Syaoran Li is a distant relative of Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards. As such, he believes that he should be the one to inherit the Clow Cards and tries to capture the cards for himself. As the series progresses, Syaoran comes to respect Sakura and becomes her friend and ally. He eventually falls in love with her, though she is slow to realize it due to her own feelings for Yukito. Cardcaptor Sakura is a Japanese shoojo manga series written and illustrated by the manga group CLamp. The manga was originally serialized in Nakayoshi from May 1996 to June 2000, and published in 12 tankoobon volumes by Kodanshafrom November 1996 to July 2000. The story focuses on Sakura Kinomoto, an elementary school student who discovers that she possesses magical powers after accidentally freeing a set of magical cards from the book they had been sealed in for years. She is then tasked with retrieving those cards in order to avoid an unknown catastrophe from befalling the world.
